Made 2 Fade Barber Lounge was founded by Leon Wright, professionally known as Made 2 Fade. He began his career in 2015 when he pursued his license in barbering at Craven Community College. While learning his craft, Made 2 Fade discovered a passion for the art of barbering. After receiving his barber license, Made 2 Fade began working vigorously to refine his skills and build a clientele. He’d find throughout the years that being a barber was not just about cutting hair. He realized that his service could provide his clients with confidence and that he would serve as somewhat of a confidant to those who sat in his chair. This realization led him to pursue a certification in Adult Mental Health First Aid, which teaches skills for providing initial help to someone experiencing a mental health challenge. In the past year Made 2 Fade has also added to his catalog, scalp micro pigmentation. This service is a cosmetic treatment that can help create the appearance of hair in people with baldness or thinning hair. Made 2 Fade opened his suite, Made 2 Fade Barber Lounge in March of 2023. His mission is to provide a comfortable space for his clients to unwind and invest in self-care.
